Description Pixel magnets – Kühlschrankmagnete in C64-Farben für Retro-Gamer

1600 magnetic pixels in 16 different colors
The color palette of the C64 as magnets for the fridge and other metal surfaces
Each pixel is 1 x 1 cm in size.

While others are still grumbling about the resolution of Fallout 4, we remind ourselves that it doesn't take many pixels to experience truly epic adventures. All right, a bit of illustration is fine, we don't exactly wish for Zork back... But anything that runs on the C64 is more than good enough!

With these 1600 pixel magnets you can now - finally - recreate your favorite scenes from Donkey Kong and Co. and you don't even need an antique computer or Paint to do it. All you need is a metallic surface, e.g. the door of a fridge or a magnetic pin board. All other objects can also be captured in a simple pixel structure. As you can see in the photos, you don't need more than 24 x 14 pixels for a purple villain, for example. :) And of course you can do much more, how about a pixelated portrait? A shopping list with pixel fruit symbols? Or a few new levels of Super Mario?

The individual magnetic pixels measure 1 x 1 cm. The 16 different colors are based on the color palette of the C64, so you get a range of rich retro tones. The individual colors come to you as pre-cut mats, all you have to do is detach the individual pixels. Incidentally, this is about as satisfying as popping bubble wrap or peeling off protective film!

We look forward to seeing your ideas, send us your photos!
