And it even turns into a smart keyboard by combining the technology of the Das Keyboard 5Q with the tried-and-tested design of the DK 4!

With the 4Q Professional, every single key can be individually illuminated using programmable apps so that you can receive notifications directly on the keyboard! For example, when your boss writes to you, you can have the O, M and G keys light up red, the end of an auction can be announced with flashing number keys and so on and so forth. You can even control and monitor your Internet of Things devices via well-known interfaces such as IFTTT and Zapier! All current notifications can be conveniently checked and managed at the same time by pressing the Q smart button.

The Das Keyboard 4Q also excels in the most classic of all areas of application, typing: Cherry MX Brown switches with gold contacts offer you a soft and tactile* typing experience, full n-key rollover and anti-ghosting ensure that you can always rely on your keyboard, even in the heat of the desk battle.

The robust aluminum surface protects the 4Q during everyday work and the USB hub lets you connect up to two devices without having to crawl behind your computer. And thanks to the braided cable, tangled cables are now a thing of the past.

*Tactile" refers to a noticeable resistance that indicates when the switching point has been reached and the keystroke has therefore been registered. With the Cherry MX Brown switches, this happens almost silently.

Nach vielen Jahren mit einer abgenudelten Tastatur war es einfach Zeit für ein Upgrade. Das wichtigste war mir in dieser Tastatur schlicht die Verarbeitung, Metallgehäuse mit extrem wertigen Tasten und leichtgängigen Cherry Switches. wann muss beim treiberupdate der Tastatur selber ein wenig vorsichtig sein, installiert man die falsche Version auf die falsche Tastatur, so kann man die Tastatur bricken, aber wer lesen kann ist da klar im Vorteil. Die Installation ging reibungslos von der Hand, über die Software lassen sich die einzelnen Tasten sowohl individuell beleuchten als auch mit Applets belegen. Aber der wahre Traum ist das Schreibgefühl, die Finger fliegen förmlich über die Tasten. Besonders gut gefällt mir, dass keine Taste in irgendeiner Form klappert. alles sitzt bombenfest und arbeitet dennoch leichtgängig und präzise wie ein Uhrwerk. 10 von 10, würde jederzeit wieder kaufen.
