Sie antwortet einfach, sobald ein Lesegerät nah genug herankommt, und nah genug ist in einer vollen Bahn schneller erreicht, als einem lieb ist.

Die RFID-Schutzhülle für Chipkarten und Ausweise beendet dieses Gespräch, bevor es anfängt. In der Hülle steckt eine Abschirmfolie der Marke Cryptalloy, die das Funksignal nicht hindurchlässt: Steckt die Karte drin, ist ihr Chip für Lesegeräte schlicht nicht vorhanden. Mit 8,7 mal 6,3 Zentimetern nimmt sie jede Karte im Scheckkartenformat auf und verschwindet anschließend in jedem Portemonnaie.
