Description Binary Die
Normally, dice have 6 sides, but as a programmer, you actually need binary random numbers (i.e., 1 or 0) much more frequently, because who works with a senary system anyway. That's why we now offer a binary die. The usage is quite simple: The die consists of a circular disc with two sides. You need to, for example, toss it in the air to ensure that the disc lands on a random side. Depending on which side is up, the result of the toss is either 1 or 0. To make it easier to remember the sides, one of the sides is printed with a 1.
The method of determining the random number can, however, be varied in many ways, ensuring a lot of variety when rolling the die. You can find a very interesting method by rotating the disc on a fixed surface in the product video.
The binary die is made from an alloy of nickel, brass, and copper and weighs approximately 7.5g. It has a diameter of approximately 26mm.
