Description The Book of the Jedi
This handbook was recently recovered from a Squib salvage ship near the ruins of Byss. Historians have discovered that it dates back to around 115 VSY. However, the texts in the book are even older, having been written at least a decade after the end of the New Sith Wars in 1000 VSY.
The Jedi Book contains much valuable information and texts written by Jedi Masters and aspirants alike. Over the years, the book has been passed down from master to padawan and many handwritten annotations have been added.
Yoda, for example, comments that he met Grand Master Fae Coven when he himself was still a youngster. Ahsoka, for her part, comments and asks "Yoda was a youngling?".
If Force students work through the various chapters, they should be well prepared for whatever lies ahead.
Part 1: Basics of the Jedi Order
This part contains important information on the codex, organization and structure of the Jedi Order.
Part 2: Jedi Aspirants
What a Jedi wears, what the three pillars of the Jedi (power, knowledge and discipline) are, how to wield a lightsaber and what tests await the student of the Force can be read in this part of the book.
Part 3: Padawan
Even more lightsaber combat, even more tests. But also lots of interesting facts about the Jedi Auxiliary Corps, equipment, culture and politics.
Part 4: Jedi Knight
After being knighted, it is of course important to know the tasks and duties of a knight. The reader also learns which paths are open to the Jedi Knight, which Force techniques are forbidden and what dangers threaten the Jedi Order. The book concludes with the conquest of death.
An incredibly entertaining and lovingly designed book, not only for long-established fans, but also for Star Wars newcomers!
